Series II & III
1955-1960 & 1960-1961 production of 368 / 58 units--revived from an
earlier series using Ford's 1172cc 100E engine. The car had new styling
and hydraulic brakes. A major innovation was the gearbox being mounted
with the engine. The series III had a wider body and a 997cc ohv Ford
with a 4 speed.

supersports 1960-1969 This
one had a light weight aluminum body, all had wire wheels, most could do
120 mph. This is the forerunner of the +8.

Series IV & V 1962-1963
/ 1963-1968 Production of 205 / 639 The basic styling remains unaltered,
front disc brakes on the IV, and a Ford engine which meant 0 - 60 in 10.5
seconds and a top speed of 92 mph.

4 Vanguard 1951-1955
production of 245. Slow performer, it took 17.9 seconds to achieve 0 -
60. From 1954-1969 they also made the +4 with a TR engine. There were
3390 of those produced. Power increased slightly, and increased again
when they went from the TR2 to the TR4 engine. With the later engines
they could achieve a top speed of 105 mph.

Roadster
1968- A Rover V8 with
aluminum block replaced the TR engine, a necessary 2 inches was added
to the wheelbase. Also alloy wheels were introduced along with new bumpers
and instruments. These could go 0-60 in 6.5 seconds with the later ones
doing it in 5.6.
