TC
1945-1949 production of 10,000 units--America began its love affair with
the MG with this model, even though it was slow (0-60 in can you believe
it 22.7 seconds) It was uncomfortable and only came in right hand drive.
It had a 1250cc engine.
TD
1950-1953 production of 29,664 units--About 90% of the total produced
were left hand drive. It has an independent front suspension with smaller
and wider wheels, so it had slightly better handling than its predecessor.
It would do 0-60 in (egads) 23.5 seconds.
TF
1250 & TF1500
1953-1955 production
of 6200 / 3400 units.--A bigger engine in 1954 didn't really help with
falling sales. Top speed with a 1500 was 85 mph and had better acceleration
with 0-60 in 16.3 seconds. The 1250 did 0-60 in 18.9 seconds.
MGA
& MGA Coupe-1955
- 1962 Coupe A new rigind chassis, modern styling twin carb version of
BMC's 1492 cc engine. This was a cheap, cheerful and fun car to drive.
(still is!) It would do 0-60 in 15.6 seconds. A detachable hardtop was
offered and in 1956 the coupe was offered.

 MGB
& MGB GT-1962
- 1967 production of 115,898. Front disk brakes, 1798cc B engine 0-60
in 12.2 seconds overdrive was an option on the 4 speed. The BGT was produced
1965-1967 production of 21835. Sytled with the assistance of Pininfarina.
Limited luggage space poor rear visibility, and a very small rear seat.
Midget
MkI 1964-66 produced:
25,681 A top speed of only 85 mph. 0-60 in 18.3 seconds, but nonetheless,
a fun top down, cruising country roads kind of car. In late 62, the engine
was enlarged from the 948cc to a 1098cc.
Midget
Mk II- 1964-1966
produced: 22,601. A taller windshield, wind up windows, door locks, an
extra 3bph, and new rear suspension on the Mk II.
Midget
Mk III- 1966-1969
produced: 13,425. a 1275cc engine.
Midget
Mk IV- 1969-1974
produced 86,623. New trim, black sills and Rostyle wheels.
 MGC
& MGC GT-
produced 4552 & 4457 numerous modifications from the B. 15 inch wheels,
a power bulge in the hood, also suspension mods. A brisk performer it
could do 0-60 in 10 seconds with a top speed of 120 mph. This one, due
to low production figures, is rare
 MGB
& MGB GT Mk II 1967-1974
production: 218,870 & 91207 detail refinements, like optional wire
wheels. Due to US emission laws, the later B's were slow.
