2000CS
Coupe 1965-1968-
This car designed by Karmann was a nice looking pillarless coupe. It incorporates
distinct BMW styling. These coupes gave BMW a sportiness to their
product line. 11,720 2000CS coupes were built.
2800CS
1968-1971-This is a much
better looking and more powerful version of the CS. It was powered by
BMW's new overhead camshaft inline six. These coupes have excellent road
handling ability. The 2800CS eventually led to the 3.0CS. There was
also a special lightweight version with aluminum body panels, this was
called the CSL and were raced very competititively in road races and won
alot of the time. These large BMW coupes are very well turned out
and are a pleasure to drive at high speeds, have very good handling, a
very collectible car. 9399 were produced.

1956 - 1959 Production
of only 253 came in both coupe and convertible. a top speed of 124 MPH
and did 0 - 60 in 8.8 seconds. It had front disc brakes on some later
cars and had excellent low range torque.

by Goertz. A top speed of 115 mph.
